This season’s top bridal gowns are a combination of pre-fall vibes with an up-scale wintery appeal. Bridal gowns in elegant metallic textiles, figure-hugging silhouettes, bust accentuating necklines and sweeping trains create a look of breathtaking elegance. However, overwhelming it may be to select your ideal bridal gown, this is list should help narrow your choices down to the dresses that not only make a statement, but are sure to leave a lasting impression. Bridal designers Justin Alexander, Sareh Nouri and Amsale all ranked among my favorites this fall/winter season.
Fall/winter 2021 bridal fashion is about making a statement.
Most brides opt to go a little over-the-top when it comes to their bridal gown. As I always say, a little sparkle goes a long way. I’ve noticed a large number of bridal gowns now are semi-or nearly totally see-through. These gowns are seen in varying lengths and are often embellished with crystals or are tactfully draped with feathers or other luxurious materials. While I’m convinced this is the standard for eveningwear of our time, I also think that seeing this warm element of sensuality in bridal fashion is refreshing. A bride should never be afraid to shine. Before making a decision, the bride (you) should know what her choices are and why. The 2021 fall/winter bridal season is stocked full of stylish selections that speak louder than any bridal trend I’ve seen in a number of years. But don’t make your decision based on my interpretation of the fall/winter 2021 bridal season alone, take a look at what designers are offering and more importantly, how their style will best compliment you. You are after all, the most vital element of the wedding—the bride.
