Fashion, beauty, entertainment, and wedding materials are published in print + online by Kontrol Magazine®, a multimedia publishing company. The following roles need to be filled by incredible candidates as Kontrol Brides grows:
Part-Time Freelance Writers
The ideal applicant should have a strong background in creating digital editorial content, be knowledgeable about AP Style, have a keen interest in weddings and lifestyle content, and understand the fundamentals of search engine optimization. We are searching for writers who have a passion for marriage, who can tackle a task with gusto, and who require minimal proofreading or supervision. Although not necessary, prior experience creating e-commerce content is a benefit. The level of experience affects the rates. The time commitment is a minimum of five articles per month, with the possibility of a much higher cadence. Each article must contain a minimum of one thousand words.

Part Time Freelance Associate Editor
We are in need of an enthusiastic, collaborative editor who can work well with others in order to expand our resources for engaged couples. The perfect applicant will be well-versed in photo editing (Adobe Photoshop is preferred), have an extensive expertise in weddings and LGBTQ equality, be passionate about all things wedding, have sharp WordPress skills, and be committed to telling sophisticated stories.
The associate editor will be in charge of creating and editing several pieces at once, including book reviews, comments, interviews, and profiles, and they must publish at least five times a week. Along with aiding the editorial director and serving as a point of contact to our writers on administrative matters, he or she will also be in charge of putting out our weekly newsletter.

Part Time Freelance Editorial Director
In order to increase the amount of resources available to engaged couples, we are in search of an enthusiastic, collaborative editor who can work well with others. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in image editing (Adobe Photoshop is recommended), be deeply committed to conveying sophisticated stories, have a wealth of knowledge regarding weddings and LGBTQ equality, and be enthusiastic about all things weddings.
In addition to writing and editing many items simultaneously, the editorial director will be responsible for producing at least eight to ten articles per week, which will include book reviews, commentary, interviews, and profiles. In addition to supporting the publisher and acting as our executives’ point of contact for administrative issues.
